Model T-Ford

Produced by the American, Ford Motor Company from 1908 to 1927, this design was a hit with the middle-class, as being one of the first, if not the first, affordable motorcar (automobile). Costs were lower as each vehicle wasn't laboriously crafted, but assembled on a production line.

It had plenty of room for passengers, yet take out the seats and enclose, you have a delivery vehicle for business use. As was hugely popular at the time, companies that used these vehicles commercially had a ready made blank canvas to advertise their goods, products or services. The use of colour drew attention to their wares, ensuring that they'd get noticed. Unbelievably, a massive 16.5 million were sold in those 21 years, meaning personal transport was definitely the way to go.
