Steiff 665455 Warner Brothers Bugs Bunny "Whats up Doc?" with Christopher Radko carrot Ornament

This fabulous, rare piece from 1999, has been designed and created by Steiff, Exclusively for Warner Bros. Steiff breathe life into the cartoon image, whilst his trademark carrot, is an exceptional, hand blown glass ornament by the talent that is Christopher Radko.

Since 1985, Christopher Radko has amazed and enchanted us, with his delicate, yet highly detailed and decorative hand blown glass ornaments. Each, highly collectable bespoke piece, takes weeks to complete and requires the utmost, unparalled skills in the business.

Ornamental Bugs Bunny is approx 17cm tall and fully jointed. He has been sewn from a mix of luxury mohairs, in grey and off white, with a vibrant snow white, for his recognisable gloves. He has acrylic black whiskers, plus black thread paw divides, for the toes on his paws. He has large, flat acrylic, white oval eyes with small black pupils and a kissable, hand stitched, coral nose. To finish, two cords are attached to his head, so that he can be fastened to any hook or branch ... or keep him as a delightful miniature.

Now for the carrot ... a green, grosgrain ribbon fastens the ornament to Bug's arm. It has been crafted from hand blown glass, silvered then hand painted, resulting in a true work of art in itself, complete with decorative topper.

This stunning set, entitled, 'What's up Doc?' is a Warner Bros Exclusive of just 2,500. Bugs comes boxed with an embroidered dust bag, plus his numbered, certificate of authenticity.
