Steiff 242533 Elly Soother (35cm)

The elefaentle (elephant) is integral to Steiff and the basis of their being, so what a better way to gift a cherished piece of Steiff history to your cherished little one, than with the playful and comforting Elly Soother.

Elly Soother is a 35 cm x 35 cm (13.7"x13.7") square blanket comforter, with a detachable Elly in one corner. The tactile snuggle blanket consists of two sides. The underside is a printed white cotton of many Elly elephants, whilst the top is a baby-safe, gloriously soft and gently textured white plush, decorated with a yellow zig-zag all around embroidered trim, plus three little elephants in the corner. The first is Elly himself with his embroidered 'saddle cloth', with two smaller ones behind. Each bearing an embroidered 'button in the ear' and yellow tag. Elly elephant can be removed by the popper covering his trunk. Like the comforter, he too has been sewn from the same baby-safe and gloriously soft plush with colour embroidery detailing for his black eyes and the decorative zig zags in blue and yellow, making up his saddle cloth. He is wonderfully tactile and the perfect size for small hands or as a pocket pal, with finger twirling 'rustling' ears, a sturdy shaped trunk and a frayed ended, cord tail, there's lots of sensory aspects to explore. Then shake him and more sound … a concealed rattle.

Elly wears the Steiff button-in-ear with a yellow label (for both pieces) and both are machine washable at 30c.
