In celebrating the 120th Anniversary of the first jointed bear (PB55), Steiff have released four loveable characters to celebrate the occasion, (four classics and three limited editions), who themselves, have christened the event to be ‘The Year of the Teddy Bear’.
Meet Mama who is so proud of her bear cubs heritage, that it is she who tells them all about their father’s relative, their great, great, great grandfather PB55.
Mama is a 30 cm / 12″, fully jointed character teddy bear. She has been crafted from a traditional design and sewn from the finest, luxury mohair in dark blonde, with warm wool felt paws, glossy black safety eyes and a hand stitched cinnamon nose and mouth completing her pretty face. She wears a short-sleeved, poplin dress in a rosewood pink hue, with a cotton beige check ruffle down the front, mirroring that of her family’s outfits.
This glorious celebration of the jointed teddy bear is a Worldwide Limited Edition of just 1,902 pieces and will come to you boxed with her numbered certificate of authenticity.
